Fans tell events promoter of One Direction's Louis Tomlinson concert in PH: 'Release more tickets, change venue, consider day 2'

Fans of One Direction's Louis Tomlinson, who is scheduled to hold a concert in the Philippines in July, were devastated after the tickets to his show were sold out in one hour today, Sunday, June 5.

The one-night show dubbed "Louis Tomlinson World Tour 2022" will be held at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City on Saturday, July 16. But fans were disappointed to find out that tickets to his concert have been sold out as early as 10 a.m.

In the comment section of Live Nation Philippines on Facebook on June 5, devastated fans urged concert organizers to release more tickets, change the venue to a bigger one and consider day 2 for the show. Some comments:

"Please consider Day 2 or a larger venue po ?. There are still many fans po who are waiting for this moment that we can see and hear Tommo live. Thank you and God bless po!"

"Slots keep opening and closing until now, but the system only wants to give adjacent seats and there are no other options posted. All possible combinations of seats are unavailable anyway, why does it keep opening then?"

"10 AM and everything is unavailable? What a joke."

"U guys absolutely underestimated louis, the venue is too small for his solo fanbase let alone the directioners, we deserved a day 2 or atleast a venue change."

"We need a bigger venue. Not even Day 2 would suffice. Do not underestimate his fans."

In March, Louis kicked off his world tour in the US.

"North America! This has been the most incredible start to my tour. Thank you for all your support!" wrote Louis on Facebook.
