4 bettors win Grand Lotto's P100-K consolation prize

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said four bettors won P100,000 each after getting five digits of the winning combination of Grand Lotto 6/55, a digit short from winning the over P160-million jackpot during Saturday night's draw, June 4.

The winning combination of Grand Lotto was 50 - 31 - 53 - 46 - 16 - 44.

According to the PCSO, nobody was lucky enough to get all the six digits of the winning combination, which had a total jackpot of P160,605,505.60.

The four consolation prize winners will take home P80,000 each, the agency said.

Because of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law, their consolation prizes will be subjected to 20 percent tax once claimed.

The government will get a total of P80,000 from the winnings of the consolation prize winners.

All lotto draws are being aired live every 9 p.m. at PTV 4.

The PCSO said Lotto 6/42 draw is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday; Super Lotto 6/49 draw is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday; Mega Lotto 6/45 is every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; Grand Lotto 6/55 draw is every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday; and Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw is every Tuesday Friday and Sunday.
