3 suspected drug pushers nabbed in Pampanga

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents arrested three suspected drug pushers in a buy-bust in Magalang, Pampanga.

The suspects Albert Gutierrez, 38, Abner Butio, 37 and Maximo Sicat, 46, were collared after PDEA agents barged inside a makeshift drug den at 6 p.m in Barangay San Isidro.

Authorities from the Pampanga Provincial Office noted that the suspects were caught off guard when the operation was conducted.

Aside from the 12 grams of shabu, the PDEA team also confiscated assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money.

Gutierrez, Butio and Sicat face charges for the violation of republic Act (RA) 9165, or “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.’’ (Chito A. Chavez)
