Tom Rodriguez back on IG, explains silence on alleged marital issue

After a few months of absence, Tom Rodriguez recently jumped back into social media, allowing for a post that only serves to further confusion concerning his and Carla Abellana's situation.

He didn't say much but the post speak volumes.

It is a photo of a pair of hands breaking free from chains.

Speculations as to what he is trying to communicate with it quickly followed.

Some of the comments:

"Ano na naman ito Tom?"

"Para kang preso na nakalaya? Ganern?"

"Ang drama..."

Tom didn't bother to respond.

Note the post came after talk about Carla supposedly already filing a petition to annul their marriage emerged.

Meanwhile, some followers also noticed that Tom is no longer following his wife on the platform.

He also removed Carla's photos on his IG.

As if these weren't enough, Tom also posted a photo of a mushroom cloud.

This time, he added a cryptic poem of sorts about things going south, among other things.

This prompted a fan to finally ask, "Why not tell the whole truth now? Why wait?"

Tom actually responded, saying simply "Gag order...ask THEM why..."

Tom also posted a photo of a man with tapes covering his mouth.

He quickly removed this as with the mushroom cloud photo, though.

When another fan urged him to "fight for Angeline," maintaining "mahal ka nun," he replied, "Not true."

This prompted more fans to join in.

Their comments:

"Hay naku...this isn't helping you in any way Tom..."

"Naaawa ako kay Tom. It's like he is so helpless. Praying for you..."

"Wait tayo mars sa reaksyon ni Amber este ni Carla...charot!!"

"Tom stop it. Pathetic na e. Obviously u did something to trigger Carla this much."

Carla is still mum on the matter as of writing.
