BTS reveal on their Apple Music 1 show ARMYs' favorite songs

K-pop superstars BTS are back on their show “BTS Radio: Past & Present” on Apple Music 1 and have revealed their songs that are favorites among their fans, ARMYs.

BTS broke the record for the biggest show of the year on Apple Music 1 with the debut episode of their show last week.

“We wanted to use this radio show to celebrate nine years of BTS with you guys and with our ARMY all over the world,” RM told Apple Music.

BTS members share stories and meaningful songs that have helped them who they are today.

“Every episode is dedicated to you. We wanted to share the BTS songs that help tell our story,” added RM.

The three-episode limited series is airing weekly on Apple Music 1, leading up to the release of their new album “Proof” on June 10.

On this week’s episode, BTS chose some of BTS ARMYs favorite songs.

"I chose 'The Truth Untold' because like the title says, the song is basically my truth untold, and I’m saying my deepest emotions that I never said out loud before. And additionally, I chose ‘Epiphany' because it is my solo track and I want you to hear it,” said Jin on “BTS Radio: Past & Present” on Apple Music 1.

For Suga, he likes the style of “UGH!” and “BTS Cypher, Pt. 3: KILLER.”

"I chose these songs because I generally like this style: very wild, and just fun to listen to. I also feel that we haven’t done this style in a pretty long time. If you listen to this once in awhile, it just pumps you up,” he said.

J-Hope said he thinks “Make It Right” and “Heartbeat” are fan favorites.

"The two songs that I think ARMY loves the most are 'Make It Right’ and ‘Heartbeat.' I haven’t listened to these in awhile, but I also heard that ‘Heartbeat' is an ARMY favorite. If you listen to it, you may discover one of BTS’ hidden gems. And 'Make It Right' is definitely an ARMY favorite so I wanted to play this for our radio episode,” he said.

For Jimin, the songs “Spring Day” and “Save Me” are loved by fans.

"'Spring Day' is the song we know for a fact that ARMY loves the most so I chose this one. And I think ARMY loves the performance of 'Save Me' the best, so I chose these two songs,” he explained.

Jungkook remembered the good reaction “Love Maze” had on fans.

"I know that we didn’t get to perform this song live too many times, but it is one of the performances I remember that had a really good reaction from the fans,” he said.

Jungkook and V also told Apple Music why “Home” is special to fans.

"When we perform in front of ARMY, we use the expression that it really feels like we’re back home, in a place where we belong. And the lyrics of ‘Home' really convey that so I think our fans get that special feeling when they listen to it. The song itself is just really good too," said Jungkook.

V said, "I also chose this one because fans love it when we perform it live, and I remember the overall vibe is just always great. I feel really proud and satisfied after performing this song.”
