K-pop group Super Junior to hold Manila concert in August

K-pop boy band Super Junior will be returning to the Philippines for a concert slated to be held in August.

Super Junior will hold their “Super Show 9: Road in Manila” at 5 p.m. on Aug. 6 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, according to an announcement by Happee Sy of concert promoter Pulp Live World.

“After 3 years of waiting.. here we are once again my dear friends -- SUPER SHOW 9! at the Mall of Asia Arena on August 6, 2022! The biggest stage always! The craziest fan service. And the most nostalgic show in our Kpop life,” posted Sy on Twitter as she announced the Manila concert.

It was Sy who brought Super Junior’s first concert to Manila, “Super Show 2,” in April 2010. “Super Show” is Super Junior’s iconic concert tour which started in 2008.

Super Junior held their last concert in Manila on Dec. 15, 2019 through “Super Show 8: Infinite Time.”

The ticket prices to Super Junior’s “Super Show 9: Road in Manila” concert are: P12,000 for the Super Standing E/L/F and Super Seated, P7,500 for Upper Box A, P6,500 for Upper Box B, P4,500 for Gen Ad A and P3,500 for Gen Ad B. Ticketing charges will be applied.
