National University completed its three-peat campaign after holding off second-seeded University of Santo Tomas, 21-18, in the UAAP Season 84 women's 3x3 basketball Finals Friday, June 3 at the CaSoBe Resort in Calatagan, Batangas.

Tin Cayabyab's heroics paved the way for the Lady Bulldogs third straight title as she hit a putback shot off a Camille Clarin miss.
NU only needed one point to win with plenty of one minute and one second left.
"Akin na 'yon. Talagang nasa puso at isip ko na kahit anong mangyari hindi ako mapapagod," said Cayabyab on her game-winner. "'Yong last shot na 'yon inaalay ko na rin 'yon para sa teammates ko kasi deserved talaga namin ito."
It was Clarin though who led NU with eight points, eight rebounds, five assists, and a block while Cayabyab chipped in six points and seven rebounds.
Completing the three-peat Lady Bulldogs cast are Angel Surada and Ann Pingol.
Jovylyn Pangilinan paced the Growling Tigresses, who improved one podium up since settling for back-to-back bronzes in the past two seasons, with 14 points.
UST missed the services of Tantoy Ferrer with less than a minute left in the game. Ferrer earlier hurt her left knee against University of the Philippines in the semifinals.
Earlier in the semifinals, NU turned back fourth-seeded Ateneo, 21-20.
After a 20-20 deadlock, Surada rose to the occasion and zoomed for the game-winning lay up with four seconds left.
Cayabyab spearheaded NU with 10 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and a block while Jhazmin Joson had 11 points for Ateneo.
UST, in the other semis showdown, routed No. 3 squad UP, 21-11, behind the efforts of Eka Soriano.
Soriano tallied seven points and three rebounds for the Growling Tigresses highlighted by a game-winning two-pointer at the 1:51 mark.
