It added, “Jeno was negative in the self-diagnostic kit test conducted before the schedule this morning, but before the scheduled video fan signing event scheduled for the afternoon, he felt symptoms of abnormal condition and was confirmed to have positive reaction in the self-diagnosis kit that was performed again.”

“He immediately proceeded with a rapid antigen test and was confirmed with Covid-19,” according to the notice.

As a result, “NCT Dream preemptively conducted a rapid antigen test, and Chenle tested positive, while the other members tested negative.”

It said Jeno and Chenle have received the third dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, and all schedules are immediately suspended. They are under self-quarantine based on the guidelines of quarantine authorities.

“Accordingly, NCT Dream has inevitably canceled schedules for this week, such as music broadcasts, radio shows, and fan signings, so we ask for your understanding,” it said.

Jeno, Chenle together with other NCT Dream members performed in Manila on May 29 at the “Begin Again: K-pop Edition” concert.

On June 1, NCT 127 member Jungwoo tested positive for Covid-19 after returning to South Korea from Japan where the group held a concert.

Before him, NCT 127 member Taeil tested positive for Covid-19 on May 18, preventing him from joining the group at the Nagoya concert. He recovered on May 25 and was able to join NCT 127 at Tokyo Dome.
