Jeepney TV to recognize beloved Kapamilya shows, artists in upcoming 'JTV Fan Favorite Awards'

Jeepney TV is set to have the grandest throwback celebration yet as it stages the first-ever “JTV Fan Favorites Awards” this October to commemorate 10 years of bringing iconic Pinoy TV through its 24/7 programming.

The “JTV Fan Favorite Awards: The Best of Kapamilya Entertainment” aims to recognize the most cherished ABS-CBN shows from all genres and eras, from the classic nostalgic to the current that have aired on Jeepney TV or have been uploaded on Jeepney TV Facebook page or YouTube channel.

“We want to pay tribute to programs, artists and their iconic characters, and special TV moments that have withstood the test of time and continue to resonate with generations of television viewers,” said Jeepney TV channel head Cindy de Leon.

From unforgettable teleseryes, iconic lines, all-time favorite loveteams, and best actors and villains, fans can express their support and vote for their top picks on Join Now Microsite, Facebook, and Tiktok starting July 16 (Saturday). The full list of categories and nominees will be announced on Friday (July 1).

The virtual awarding ceremony will be streamed live on Oct. 22 (Saturday) at 9 PM via Jeepney TV’s YouTube, Facebook, and Tiktok accounts and will have a delayed telecast on-air via Jeepney TV. 

One of the pay TV channels under ABS-CBN’s subsidiary Creative Programs, Inc., Jeepney TV began airing on October 22, 2012 and has become the favorite throwback channel in the country. Aside from well-loved Kapamilya shows, classic Pinoy movies, Asian dramas, and cartoons, it has also aired its own production like “Showbiz Pa More!,” “Biyaheng Retro,” and “Kumu Star Ka.” The channel is available on SKY Cable ch. 9, Cignal ch. 44, GSat ch. 55, and SatLite ch. 37.
