Is John Lloyd Cruz set to star in a new GMA show?

This is the question of many after the seasoned actor and his managers in Crown Artist Management Rambo Nuñez and Mikki Gonzalez, were seen with GMA executives, including network chairman and CEO Annette Gozon-Valdes, GMA First Vice President for Program Support Department Jose Mari Abacan, GMA VP for Drama Productions Cheryl Ching-Sy, and Senior AVP for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara.

It was Annette who shared a photo of the meeting on Instagram.

"Productive meeting #wagmunapillars #newloveteam," her caption read.

It was in November last year when John Lloyd was officially welcomed by the GMA Network bosses.

Later, John Lloyd starred in a reunion project with former reel partner and then-newly transferred Kapuso Bea Alonzo.

Then he also marked his TV comeback via the GMA comedy sitcom "Happy ToGetHer."

Early this year, John Lloyd confirmed that he is all set to star in a new film.

He described it as a “passion project” that he has long wanted to see fruition.

Playing his leading lady in the film is Jasmine Curtis-Smith.
