P272,000 shabu seized, 6 men arrested in Bacolod buy-busts

BACOLOD CITY – Police seized P272,000 worth of suspected shabu and arrested six alleged drug personalities in separate buy-bust operations here Friday, June 24.

Operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) arrested Joseph Espirito, 32, and three others in Barangay Handumanan.

According to the police, Espirito, a street level individual, was the subject of the operation, while the others had shabu in their possession.

Police recovered from them 11 sachets of shabu weighing 25 grams worth P170,000 and an improvised tooter. All four of them are detained at Police Station 10.

Also arrested in Barangay Handumanan was Angelo Oliveros, 37, a street level individual. Police confiscated from him 10 grams of shabu worth P68,000. He is also detained at Police Station 10.

In Barangay Taculing, Robiemel Gabuelo, 34, a street level individual, was arrested after police seized from him five grams of suspected shabu worth P34,000. He is detained at Police Station 6.
