Emirates expects high PH demand for Tel Aviv route

Emirates expects "high demand" for its newly launched Tel Aviv, Israel service from the Philippines, Australia, Indonesia, Brazil and the United States, according to a statement from Adel Al Redha, Emirates Chief Operating Officer.

Emirates mounted its first ever service from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to Israel using its Boeing 777 ‘game-changer’ aircraft last week.

“We are excited about the launch of the Tel Aviv service which adds to our growing network," the COO noted.

"From the time we first announced plans to include Tel Aviv in our global reservation systems, we received strong demand from travelers - not only in Israel, but also from many of our destinations including to and from the UAE."

"Our new service will provide tourism, trade and business opportunities,” Al Redha explained.

Emirates’ flight schedules to and from Tel Aviv have been timed to provide convenient access to Dubai and connections to popular destinations like the Philippines, Australia, he Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam, he pointed out.

In addition, Emirates’ codeshare partnership with flydubai offers travelers even more choices when they connect in Dubai, unlocking access to the combined network of both carriers which span 210 destinations in 100 countries.

Definitely, the new Emirates service will help nurture further business and tourism links.

An enabler for trade, Emirates SkyCargo will offer an average of 20 tonnes of belly-hold capacity on every flight, carrying key Israeli exports like fruits and vegetables, pharmaceuticals, industrial machinery and electronics, metals, and other high-value goods to the international markets.

The airline is also set to transport manufacturing raw materials and components, semiconductors, and e-commerce parcels to Israel.

Emirates’ flights to Tel Aviv operate as EK931 and EK932. The daily flight leaves at 15:50hrs, arriving in Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport at 18:00hrs local time.

The return flight departs Tel Aviv at 19:55hrs, arriving in Dubai at 23:59hrs (local time).
