Ruffa Gutierrez: 'May your past no longer block your view of the present'

Former beauty queen-actress Ruffa Gutierrez thanked her Turkish ex-husband, Yilmaz Bektas, and his new family as they warmly welcomed her daughter - Lorin and Venice, recently.

Recall the two flew to Istanbul a few days ago to reunite with their father, whom they had not seen for more than a decade.

"12 days with their father after 15 years of not seeing each other was certainly a trip Lorin and Venice will never forget for the rest of their lives. I can’t wait to hear all about it when they get home in time for my birthday," Ruffa wrote along with the behind-the-scenes clips of the said reunion.

She added: "To families going through similar experiences, thank you for sharing your heartwarming stories with me. Reach out to your estranged loved one today and remember that as long as you’re alive, there’s always hope. May your past no longer block your view of the present."

Ruffa also used the hashtag: "#InGodsPerfectTime."

Meanwhile, Lorin reposted her half-sister Ilknaz Bektas' Instagram story where she and sister Venice could be seen embracing their father at the airport.

"Until we are all together again," the text read.

Ruffa and Yilmaz got married in 2003. They split in 2007.
