LOOK: Emmy Rossum's 1-year-old daughter gets Covid-19 vaccine

Just shy of a week since the announcement of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration that children between six months and 6 years can now avail of the Covid-19 vaccinations (Pfizer and Moderna), actress Emmy Rossum has had her one-year-old daughter vaccinated.

"An exciting day we’ve waited a long time for! Our daughter got her first covid vaccine," she posted with a photo of her daughter's arm with a shiny silver bandage.

It can be recalled that Rossum supports the idea of getting vaccinated, even getting a vaccine while she was pregnant. "When I was pregnant I got vaccinated. Not only did we have a healthy, beautiful baby girl but we also just learned our daughter now has antibodies. In short, stop being an irresponsible idiot and get the vaccine."

There is no announcement yet if the Philippines will follow the FDA's recommendation. While we are waiting for this announcement, it is highly recommended that you consult with your pediatrician regarding Covid-19 vaccination for this age bracket.
