2 bettors win P73-million Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot

Two individuals became instant millionaires after winning the more than P73 million jackpot prize for Super Lotto 6/49, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Friday, June 24.

The PCSO congratulated the winners who bought their tickets in Tarlac City, Tarlac and in Iloilo City, Iloilo.

The lucky bettors guessed the winning combination of 36-07-14-21-20-42 for Super Lotto 6/49 during the draw on Thursday, June 23. The two will share the jackpot prize worth P73,777,794.40.

Moreover, a lone bettor also won P2,244,653 for the 6D Lotto during Thursday's draw.

The bettor correctly guessed the winning combination 4-0-5-0-9-9. The winning ticket was bought in Cubao, Quezon City.

The PCSO noted that "prizes above P10,000 are subject to 20 percent tax pursuant to TRAIN law."

"Prizes not claimed by the public within one year from date of draw shall be considered forfeited," it added.
