Drug personality in Laguna yields P161,000 shabu

STA. Cruz, Laguna – Police seized seven sachets of suspected shabu valued at P161,000 from an alleged drug personality during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Santisima Cruz here Wednesday, June 22.

Police Col. Cecilio Ramos Ison Jr., acting Laguna police director, identified the suspect as Eric Vitaliz, alias “Baron,” 33, single, of Barangay Santisima Cruz.

Vitaliz was arrested by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and local police at around 10 p.m. Seized from him was shabu weighing 23.8 grams with a street value of P161,900.

Ison added that the operation was conducted after the Drug Enforcement Unit received information regarding the illegal activities of the suspect who was also in the watchlist of drug personalities.
