Charlize Theron shares BTS photos from set of 'The Old Guard 2'

The guards are back!

Old Guard lead star Charlize Theron comes back in her role as Andy, as she shares behind the scene photos of the upcoming sequel of the film. 

Along with Theron are the original cast from the first film, Kiki Layne (Nile), Chiwetel Ejiofor (Copley), Luca Marinelli (Nicky), and Marwan Kenzari (Joe). 

Also joining is "Crazy Rich Asian" star Henry Golding, as part of the new cast. After its premiere in July 2020, the film received impressive reviews from the audience. 

In the first film, after Booker, played by Matthias Schoenaerts, betrays Andy (Theron), the two of them decide to put Booker in century-long isolation from the group. Bur before ending it, another cast has entered the film, and that is Quynh played by Ngô Thanh Vân. 

Based on the comic book written by Greg Rucka, the story follows a group of immortal mercenaries with regenerative healing powers. The Old Guard: Force Multiplied will be directed by Lovecraft Country director Victoria Mahoney.
