Search continues for missing Isabela cop


ISABELA -- The Special Investigation Task Force is looking into three angles on a missing policeman assigned at the Cabatuan Police Station.

The Isabela Provincial Police Office identified the missing policeman as Police Senior Master Sgt. Antonino Agonoy, 42, a resident of San Mateo, Isabela.

On June 5, the family reported to the police that PSenior Master Sgt. Agonoy has not returned home.

In an interview with a local station here, PMajor Lorvin Layugan, Chief of the Cabatuan Police Station, said that they are reviewing CCTV camera footage in Cabatuan and Cauayan City where its NMAX motorcycle was found.

PMajor Layugan said the IPPO had formed a Special Investigation Task Force to lead the investigation.

PMajor Layugan added that the SITF of the IPPO is already investigating three angles in connection with the disappearance of senior Master Sergeant Agonoy.

Police continue to coordinate with the family of Agonoy to speed up the investigation.

Meanwhile, Major Amy M. Dela Cruz, Police Information Officer of IPPO, said that in case of any updates they will issue statements.

“On going pa din ang paghahanap at pag iimbestiga” Dela Cruz told Manila Bulletin.
