Over 1,000 senior high school students attend physical graduation rites in Valenzuela City

A total of 1,005 senior high school students from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela (PLV) attended the first physical graduation rites that was held at Wes Arena, on Tuesday, June 21, two years after the Covid-19 pandemic hit the country.

The local government said that the graduates belong to the Batch 2021-2022, who finished their strands: Accountancy and Business Management (ABM), Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS), Science Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), General Academic Strand (GAS), and Arts and Design.

District 1 Rep. and Mayor-elect Wes Gatchalian congratulated the graduates.

"Sa kabila ng pandemya, nagawa ng bawat isa sa kanila na magpursigi upang maabot ang mahalagang tagumpay na ito sa kanilang pag-aaral at matupad ang kanilang pangarap. Tunay na sila ang pag-asa ng ating bayan at bansa! (Despite the pandemic, each of them was able to persevere to reach this important achievement in their education and fulfil their dream. They are truly the hope of our city and country!)," he said in a Facebook post.
