Navotas LGU distributes sacks of rice to sari-sari store owners

The Navotas City government has distributed sacks of rice to sari-sari store owners through the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) Livelihood Assistance Grant.

A total of 13 beneficiaries were each given 20 sacks of rice on Monday, June 20, to help them in their livelihood. Each sack weighed 25 kilograms.

Mayor Toby Tiangco and DOLE- CAMANAVA (Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela) Director II Dr. Rowella V. Grande were present during the distribution.

Tiangco also received a plaque of appreciation from the DOLE for his leadership and support to the department's programs and services.

The mayor thanked the DOLE for its programs that helped the residents especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.
