Robredo almost done packing at OVP

With only eight days left in her term, outgoing Vice President Leni Robredo and her staff have packed and are ready to leave the Quezon City Reception House (QCRH), where she has held office for the past six years.

During a Facebook Live, the Vice President showed her followers around her inner office, including the bathroom and personal space where she kept her clothes and toiletries.

“Gusto ko pakita (I want to show) for posterity. Patapos na mag-empake. Halos paubos na (Almost done packing. Almost finished)," she said, adding that the only ones left were her personal things, such as gifts from the campaign.

Most of the picture frames, paintings, and artwork given to her will be transferred to the Angat Buhay museum, which will showcase the pink-colored gifts and cultural memorabilia she received as she went around the Philippines for the 2022 presidential elections.

She also shared that some of the boxes still left at the QCRH will be transferred to the new Angat Buhay Foundation office, which she plans to launch on July 1 after her term ends.

The non-government organization (NGO) will be a continuation of the Office of the Vice President's (OVP) flagship poverty alleviation program.

"Lipat namin sa (We will transfer it to the) office by end of the week. Ready na siya (It is ready),” Robredo said.

"After June 30, mas madalas na ako makakapag-Facebook Live (I can go on Facebook Live more frequently)," she added after apologizing that she couldn't update her followers these past weeks.

The outgoing Vice President will also host the last general assembly on Monday, June 27, for her staff.

She has extended an invitation to incoming Vice President-elect Sara Duterte, who also planned on using the QCRH as a temporary office.
