3 nabbed, P176,000 shabu seized in Negros Occidental buy-busts

BACOLOD CITY – Three persons, including two top drug personalities, were arrested while P176,400 worth of suspected shabu was seized in buy-bust operations here and Negros Occidental Tuesday, June 21.

Dennis Cajuyong, 45, of Barangay Mansilingan here, was arrested after police seized from him 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000. Cajuyong was listed as a street level individual and is detained at Police Station 7.

In Negros Occidental, Mark Henry Escaner, 31, of Barangay II, La Carlota City, was arrested in Barangay Batuan, La Carlota City after he allegedly yielded 10 grams of suspected shabu worth P60,800.

Police Lt. Col. Lowell Garinganao, La Carlota City police chief, said that Escaner is listed as a high value individual, and was tagged as Top 1 targeted drug personality in the city.

Garinganao said that Escaner allegedly sourced out the illegal drugs here or in Kabankalan City. He added that Escaner was previously arrested but was released through plea bargain.

In Talisay City, Dairyl Akol, 33, of Barangay Matab-ang, was arrested in Barangay Zone 12-A. Police recovered from him P13,600 worth of suspected shabu. Akol is listed as a street level individual and tagged as Top 4 drug personality of the Talisay City police station.
