Perpetual dumps EAC for 2-1 in NCAA women's volleyball
University of Perpetual Help exposed Emilio Aguinaldo College’s (EAC) lackluster plays to hack out a 25-21, 25-17, 25-7 victory Tuesday in NCAA women’s volleyball at the Paco Arena in Manila.

The Lady Altas survived the fiery start of the Lady Generals before controlling the match that lasted 69 minutes to pick up their second win in three outings.
Razel Aldea and Mary Rhose Dapol led Perpetual with 12 and 11 points including a combined 17 kills and four blocks.
Janine Padua chipped in 10 points including two aces while Charmaine Ocado chipped in seven points.
EAC dictated the pace early in the first set and briefly led 18-17 when Perpetual drilled four straight points to gain the 21-18 upperhand en route to the set win.
The Lady Generals regained their composure in the second frame with a 7-3 start, but saw their offense slowly collapsing as the Lady Altas established a solid net defense to grab the 11-8 advantage.
From then on, EAC lost its steam particularly in the third set when it trailed by as many as 10 points, 13-3, and never recovered.
The Lady Generals fell deeper into the cellar with a 0-3 hole, tying with Letran and San Beda.
Krizzia Reyes scored 11 points, all from attacks, but it was not enough to lift EAC.
It also didn’t help that EAC gave up 24 points on errors.
