Head coach Brian “Panda” Lim and the rest of his wards have now set their sights on conquering the biggest stage as they shift their focus to the MPL Philippines Season 10 and M4 World Championship which was announced to be happening on Jan. 1 to 15 next year.

During an interview with the PH broadcast of the MSC 2022, Panda insisted that while he is proud and happy of what his boys have achieved, the work is not yet done as they eye to build their own dynasty and sit on top of the world.

“Siyempre I'm proud na proud, pero I'm already thinking M4 na,” said Panda.

“Yes MSC is a redemption for me kasi yun yung aking last moments sa Arkangel before it disbanded. Pero look sa mga bata, hindi sila beterano. They are sophomores and amateurs and they got the MSC na agad, especially without me,” he added.

RSG blitzed through its opponent in the regional tiff and while it sailed through turbulent waters during its upper bracket run where it lost to RRQ Hoshi, the team redeemed itself with a 3-2 victory over Omega Esports in lower bracket and a rousing 4-0 sweep of RRQ during their rematch in the Grand Finals.

“I'm not being mayabang pero gusto ko talaga step-by-step but with my team right now I can imagine unlimited, I'm so proud of them right now,” said Panda.

In fact, the reason why Panda didn’t go with the team in Malaysia is because he wanted to oversee the preparation for the upcoming season which will serve as a qualifier to the world meet.

He also lauded coach Karl “Giee” Barrientos for taking over his coaching duties for the team during the MSC.

“I really want to appreciate you for being there for me. Siyempre the reason why I stayed in the Philippines was because we wanted to divide the work because I also need to prepare for next season, roster changes and tryouts,” said coach Panda.

“Even though there's so much pressure you have to do so many changes, you were there working until 4am every single night and slept only for three hours and we talked about draft and now you adjusted it so well kahit na wala ako/ Your draft is really good,” he said of his deputy.

“Your ability to take care of the team was really, really good along with Benjamin and Lexi.”
