SM-CSU partnership to help 5,000 students in OJT, future employment

TUGUEGARAO CITY -- Good news for Cagayan State University (CSU) students here!

The SM Supermalls signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with CSU on June 20, 2022 at SM Center Tuguegarao Downtown to help 5000 students through internship programs, recruitment, and job opportunities.

The project is spearheaded by Vice President Human Resource Ms. Cheryl Ruth Agsaoay and Asst. Vice President-Mall Human Resource and Business Partners (HRBP) Atty. Derek Reyes, the SM Supermalls Academe Partnership Program with Cagayan State University.

This is first in the region and 2nd nationwide after SM’s partnership with University of Baguio (UB).

The agreement has established a partnership through internship programs, and job placement.

The SM Supermalls has been registered as the top employment generator nationwide.

SM Supermalls has been helping communities where SM is present and one of its objectives in community development is through academic linkages.

CSU is the largest state university in the Cagayan Valley Region in terms of enrollment and number of curricular program offerings.
