PCSO expects Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot to hit P160 million next draw

Should there still be no winner, the jackpot prize of Grand Lotto 6/55 is expected to hit P160 million after Saturday night’s draw, June 4.

This came after nobody was lucky enough to guess the winning combination of Grand Lotto 6/55 during its most recent draw last Wednesday, June 1.
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the winning combination was 42 - 21 - 44 - 10 - 51 - 25, having a total jackpot prize of P151,908,888.
Meanwhile, eight bettors were just a digit short of bagging the whopping jackpot.
Each of them will get a P100,000 consolation prize, according to the PCSO.
Because of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law, their consolation prizes will be subjected to 20 percent tax once claimed.
Therefore, the eight lotto bettors will only get P80,000 each as the government will take P160,000 tax from their winnings.
Nobody was also able to bag the P59.9 million jackpot of Mega Lotto 6/45 which was also drawn last Wednesday. Its winning combination was 25 - 34 - 41 - 26 - 28 - 02.
