Mechanical engineers, plant mechanics to take oath on June 9

Heads up! All new mechanical engineers and certified plant mechanics are set to take oath on Thursday, June 9, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Thursday, June 2.

The ceremony, which will be conducted virtually, will be spearheaded by the following PRC branches: NRC-Morayta, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Legaspi, Lucena, and San Fernando, Pampanga.

In an advisory, the Commission instructed all inductees to wear formal or business attire and use a white physical or virtual background throughout the oathtaking ceremony. They were likewise instructed to print the “Oath of Professional” form which is accessible at PRC online services.

Apart from these, participants were tasked to secure an online appointment schedule at the PRC’s website. Online registration will close five calendar days before the oathtaking day, said PRC.
