YouTube sensation Baby Shark has collaborated with K-pop star and former 2NE1 member CL for its hit series.
CL will be guesting in “Baby Shark’s Big Show!,” the hit preschool series of Baby Shark, which is co-produced by The Pinkfong Company and Nickelodeon Animation.

According to Pinkfong, CL will lend her voice to an animated character, rap icon Sharki L, in “The Seaweed Sway” episode of the Korean dubbed version of “Baby Shark’s Big Show!.”
In the US, Grammy winner Cardi B appeared as “Sharki B” in the same episode.
CL confirmed the collaboration in posts on Instagram and Twitter with a photo with the caption “CL x BABYSHARK.”
The collaboration comes as The Pinkfong Company’s efforts to bring exceptional entertainment experiences to people of all ages.
After 2NE1’s reunion at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, CL will continue to perform at the world-renowned music festivals across the globe this year.
“We are delighted to be working with CL and bringing her bold and playful music to the world of Baby Shark. Committed to connecting people with joyful content, we will continue to seek creative opportunities where we can bring joy to more audiences around the world," said Gemma Joo, Pinkfong’s chief business officer.
The episode follows Baby Shark and William as they meet Sharki L and try to learn the dance craze she created.
CL is Sharki L, the biggest star in the seven seas--flashy, awe-inspiring, and ruthlessly fun--but always 100 percent herself.
The episode starring CL will air on July 4th on EBS 1TV in South Korea.
In addition to the special episode, the CL version of “Seaweed Sway”, the episode’s new original song, will be available exclusively on Pinkfong’s social media channels in June.
