990 of 4,442 pass May 2022 CPA licensure exam

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 990 individuals out of the 4,442 examinees passed the May 2022 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure examination.

The tests were given by the Board of Accountancy in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga last May 2022.

Meanwhile, Jhoone Cyrelle Dela Cruz Nacario, an alumni of the University of Santo Tomas (UST), garnered the highest place in the boards with a rating of 88.83 percent.

The Commission, however, did not list any top performing schools, which means that no institutions produced an overall passing percentage of at least 80 percent or higher.
