Howie Severino docu wins award in France

Broadcast journalist Howie Severino couldn't be prouder of his "i-Witness" episode "Mask Land."

The said documentary, which was aired in July last year, recently bagged a recognition abroad.

On Instagram, Howie proudly shared about it.

"'Mask Land,' a documentary my team and I did last year on the ecological damage of discarded medical masks, made it to the Deauville Green Awards this week, an annual festival and competition in France of 'socially responsible films' from around the world. We got a silver medal," he wrote.

The seasoned Kapuso accompanied it with his photo taken when he attended the awarding ceremony in Deauville, France.

"Mask Land" was part of the Docu competition under the Health and Living Environment category.
