Tom Rodriguez on Carla Abellana: 'I have accepted her decision'

Kapuso actor Tom Rodriguez revealed that he's already divorced from actress Carla Abellana.

Tom made the revelation in a report by Nelson Canlas on "24 Oras" on June 17.

"Despite all my efforts, Carla had already given up on our marriage," said Tom, who is currently on vacation in the US. "I have accepted her decision that it is time to move forward, independent from each other. I have to teach myself how to fall out of love from her."

The full statement as posted by Popoy S. Caritativo, Tom's manager, on Instagram on Friday.

Carla and Tom got engaged in October 2020. However, it was only made public in March 2021. They tied the knot at the Madre de Dios Chapel, Tagaytay Midlands in Talisay, Batangas last Oct. 23, 2021.
