PRC commemorates 49th anniversary, aims to fulfill its mandate amid 'changing times'
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) unveiled its week-long list of events as part of its 49th founding anniversary celebration anchored with the theme “Forging Ahead Towards Professionalism, Resiliency, and Competitiveness.”

As part of its celebration, PRC will be holding a week-long physical and virtual events such as, but not limited to, team buildings, family day, webinars, livelihood training, sustainable gardening, recognition and loyalty awards day, as well as a tree planting activity.
Apart from these, the Commission’s regional offices across the country will also be conducting basic life support training and bloodletting activities.
All of these will be conducted from Thursday, June 16, 2022 until Wednesday, June 22, 2022, said PRC.
Meanwhile, PRC Chairperson Teofilo Pilando Jr., in an official message to the public, vowed to continuously pour effort in raising “globally competitive” professionals.
“As recent as this pandemic, the challenges now never ceased, but we kept on and worked hard to deliver results and excellent service. We didn’t shy away from difficulties, and we proved our strength and resilience,” said Pilando.
“Thus, the Commission continues to flourish and produce passionate, highly skilled, and globally competitive professionals who have not only excelled in their fields, but also aided in the advancement of their profession and the development of the community,” he furthered.
PRC was established on June 22, 1973.
