Medical mission benefits over 300 patients in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan
Over 300 patients were given free medical and dental services during the joint medical mission of the City Health Office (CHO), City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), SM Foundation, and SM City San Jose del Monte (SJDM) on Thursday, June 16.

It was the first medical mission in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan since the outbreak of Covid-19.
The services offered during the mission included medical and dental checkups, tooth extraction, X-ray, electrocardiogram or ECG, blood sugar test, cholesterol test, uric acid test, and hemoglobin test.
To ensure the safety of everyone and to limit the number of people that may flock to the venue of the mission, the CSWD pre-identified the beneficiaries who are part of the indigent sector of the community.

Free medicines and vitamins were also distributed as prescribed by the volunteer doctors during the activity.
The SM City SJDM management, on the other hand, included the employees of its partner agencies such as guards and janitors in the medical mission.
A total of 349 patients were served and 488 services were provided during the event.
SM City SJDM mall manager Jose Mari Emmanuel Correa said the number of beneficiaries for the medical mission may be lower than the previous ones, but they made sure that all the participants, including volunteers, were safe.
