The Light Rail Transit (LRT) 2 is extending its operating hours to serve more passengers starting Friday, June 17, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) announced.
From the original schedule of 8:30PM, the last commercial train departing from Antipolo station will be adjusted to 9:00PM.
Meanwhile, from 9:00PM, the last commercial train departing from Recto station will be at 9:30pm.

The move is line with the goal of the DOTr and the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) to aid the commuting needs of the riding public by serving for longer hours.
More employees are now returning to onsite work and students are attending face-to-face classes.
The thirteen-station, 17.6-kilometer railway line averages 200,000 passengers daily before the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
The line is the least busy among Metro Manila's three rapid transit lines but registers periods of peak ridership during rush hours in the morning and the evening.
