Drug pusher falls in Bacolod buy-bust, P442,000 shabu seized

BACOLOD CITY – An alleged drug pusher was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 1 here Thursday, June 16.

Police identified the suspect as Arnel Sitjar, 40, of Barangay 2 here.

Seized from Sitjar was 65 grams of suspected shabu worth P442,000.

Police Capt. Paul Vincent Pendon, head of Police Station 2 here, said Sitjar was previously arrested for illegal gambling and theft.

Pendon said that Sitjar can be considered a high-value individual as he allegedly transacts big amount of illegal drugs to his clients.

The Bacolod Police Station 2 chief refused to reveal the source of the contraband due to the confidential nature of the information.

Sitjar is detained at Police Station 2.
