RSG Philippines put up a masterful performance after sweeping Orange Esports, 3-0, to advance to the upper bracket finals of the MSC 2022 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre on Thursday, June 16.

The MPL PH Season 9 champion showed why it is one of the favorites to win the tournament as it methodically dissected the hometown bets, highlighted by a huge comeback win in Game 2 to complete the three-game triumph and arrange a showdown with RRQ Hoshi.
With their base the only left standing in Game 2, the Filipinos used a huge team fight down bottom lane at the 25-minute mark to take down three heroes of Orange Esports. That allowed the Filipinos to secure an uncontested Luminous Lord which proved to be the telling blow against the Malaysian crew.
RSG completed the 25-16 comeback to take a commanding 2-0 lead. Aqua on the Cecilion showed the way with a 6-2-13 line while Emann unloaded a 10-4-5 line on his signature Beatrix.
Feeling that the Game 2 loss has broken the spirits of the Malaysians, RSG showed no letup in the third game as it gave Orange a thorough 20-5 beatdown in Game 3 to close out the series. Emann on the Karrie shone anew for RSG as he quickly reached his power spike to finish with a perfect 8-0-5 line while Aqua provided support with a neat 7-0-7 KDA on the Kagura.
