BBM to meet with five more envoys; here's where they're from


President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is scheduled to receive five more foreign envoys for courtesy calls on Friday morning, June 17.

According to an advisory, Marcos will meet with Chargé d’ Affaires of Poland, Jaroslaw Szczepankiewicz; Ambassador of Bangladesh, His Excellency (H.E.) Foreign Minister (F.M.) Borhan Uddin; Ambassador of New Zealand, H.E. Peter Francis Tavita Kell; Ambassador of Nigeria, Her Excellency Folakemi Ibidunni Akileye; and Ambassador of Australia, H.E. Steven James Robinson.

The courtesy calls will take place at the BBM headquarters in Mandaluyong City on June 17, from 9 a.m. until noon.

Last June 15, Marcos met with envoys from Norway, Finland, Hungary, Romania, and South Africa.

The foreign diplomats are expected to hold press conferences after their respective meetings with Marcos.
