Government anti-narcotics operatives seized on Wednesday morning, June 15, some P6.8 million worth of shabu following the arrest of a drug personality in Quezon City.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said that Chrissie Chamorro alias John, 39, was collared by its agents at 1:30 a.m. in Project 2, adding that she yielded more or less a kilo of shabu.
Also seized were a mobile phone, identification card (ID), one unit Nissan Urvan and the buy-bust money.
Chamorro was cornered after the PDEA agents conducted a series of extensive follow-up operations.
In an interview Kagawad (village councilman) Xyrus Yanesa of Barangay Quirino 2-B who attested to the legitimacy of the operation said that Chamorro was arrested along Chico Street.
The suspect is now temporarily detained at the PDEA Jail Facility and face charges for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165.
