The Pasay City government opened the Kadiwa Mobile Palengke at the Pasay City Hall compound on June 15, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the Kadiwa Mobile Palengke was launched in coordination with the Department of Agriculture and the Pasay City Cooperative Development Office.
Rubiano said the program was part of the livelihood recovery program of cooperatives in the city badly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
She said the program will also help introduce the local produce of the farmers.
The mayor said the Kadiwa Mobile Palengke will also help consumers buy cheaper and fresh local products.
