Pasay City gov’t cited for good financial housekeeping


The Pasay City government was one of the six cities in the National Capital Region (NCR) recognized by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) for passing the “Good Financial Housekeeping” standards and practices for 2021.

According to the Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, DILG recognizes and awards local government units (LGUs) for their performance in terms of financial transparency and fiscal accountability.

Rubiano shared the good news in her social medical post on June 15 and thanked the DILG for the recognition.

She said the city government ranked number five in DILG’s list LGUs with good financial housekeeping.

The other cities given with the same award were Las Piñas, Makati, Muntinlupa. Quezon, and Pasig City.
