Isolated rain showers, thunderstorms to prevail over PH on Thursday — PAGASA

(MANILA BULLETIN)

The ridge or extension of a high pressure area extending across Northern and Central Luzon, and the easterlies affecting the eastern section of Mindanao, will be the dominant weather systems in the country in the next 24 hours, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Wednesday afternoon, June 15.

The entire country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or localized thunderstorms, the State weather bureau said.

However, PAGASA advised the public to remain vigilant against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms, which are often accompanied by sudden heavy rains, lightning, thunder, gusty winds, and sometimes hail.

This weather scenario may persist in the next three days.

PAGASA said the entire archipelago may also experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
