Comelec says preparations for Dec 5 BSKE ongoing

All administrative and operational preparations for the Dec 5, 2022 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan polls have been commenced and are ongoing, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) said Monday, June 13.

Comelec Acting Spokesperson John Rex Laudiangco said these activities include:

•The drafting of implementing resolutions.

•Procurement of ballot paper and other election supplies.

•Procurement of printing services for the official ballots, accountable and non-accountable forms.

•Revisiting/re-studying of health protocols, including the continuation of the provision of Isolation Polling Places, in coordination with the Inter Agency Task Force.

•Resumption of continuing voter registration.

Laudiangco said this is upon the direction of the Commission en banc, with Commissioner Rey E. Bulay as the Commissioner-in-Charge.
