CHITCHAT OVER COFFEE: Can this be love in reel life, or is it 2 Good To Be True?

Episode 19.  Capt. Rosales (Cris Villanueva) went to the house of Nanay Margie (Geli de Belen) to look for Ali Fajardo ( Kathryn Bernardo).   Immediately Nanay Margie had 60 words per 30-sec response to Capt Rosales's one-line question.  Narrating what happened to her daughter Ali in the most animated way possible.  But Capt. Rosales immediately after knowing that Ali is home and ok, “gentlemanly” asked Nanay Margie how she had been holding up so far.  That very second – the world stopped for all viewers. That unexpected gesture made hearts melt big time, hence instantly giving followings to the MarCap (or GieRaf) love team.  

Lately, Capt Rosales has indirectly proven that chivalry isn't dead.  While it’s also clear that a 2nd chance at love is possible for someone like Nanay Margie.

Fortunately, I have been able to watch (and still watching) 2 Good To B True from Episode 1.  I personally do look forward to watching the next episode each night.  And admittedly, the MarCap love team is a pleasant surprise indeed.  It does add a smile to a viewer's face.  I love watching how a machismo Capt. Rosales can be " torpe" in front of a woman like Nanay Margie. Admittedly, I'm a fan.

Mae Czarina Cruz-Alviar, award-winning film, and television director, shared that the unexpected birth of "MarCap" came about when the audience started cheering them on all media platforms.

Even, Mel Mendoza-del Rosario, Creative Producer of said RomCom shared that this was so unexpected," We value the sentiments of our audience.  So, aside from the leading Eloy-Ali/KathNiel love team, definitely a MarCap now and then truly adds to the ratings of the show".

"2Good To Be True" is KathNiel's TV comeback after their pandemic project, The House Arrest of Us.   Today, the show happens to lead the chart on Netflix, surpassing "Stranger Things."  It is proudly produced and broadcast by Kapamilya Channel.
