The Dyip swingman had to be wheeled out on a stretcher after an awkward fall while trying to defend Batang Pier star Robert Bolick in the air with 5:26 remaining in the third quarter.

Replays showed that Daquioag twisted his ankle so badly it was only shown once during the broadcast.

Players from both teams along with NorthPort coach Pido Jarencio, who handled Daquioag during their time at University of Santo Tomas, were quick to check on the Terrafirma cager’s condition.

Daquioag was not the only Terrafirma player who went down with an injury as Eric Camson and Isaac Go also had incidents in the first seven minutes of the contest.

Camson landed on his back after fouling Jamie Malonzo, 9:44 left in the opening period, and walked back to the bench with help from his teammates.

Go, meanwhile, hurt his right leg while trying to get a rebound with 5:44 to go.
