Minor arrested, P3.4M worth of shabu seized in Albay buy-bust

Government anti-narcotics operatives seized over P3.4 worth of shabu on Friday, June 10, following the arrest of two suspected drug pushers, including a minor, in a buy-bust in Guinobatan, Albay.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said 39-year old suspect Yurie Balisoro Pavia and his minot companion were caught at 1:10 p.m. in Purok 1, Barangay Inamnan Grande.

PDEA agents seized half kilo of shabu and drug paraphernalia.

The minor will be turned-over to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office as both suspects face charges for violation of Sections 5, 11, and 12 of Article II in Republic Act (RA) 9165, or the “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022.’’
