The Parañaque City government distributed fuel subsidy to around 90 fishermen in the city on Tuesday, May 31.
Mayor Edwin Olivarez said aside from the fuel subsidy amounting to P3,000, the city government also distributed 10 kilos of rice to each beneficiary.
Mar Jimenez, Public Information Office (PIO) chief, said the distribution was held in Barangay Sto. Niño.
Jimenez said Olivarez was accompanied by representatives from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources-National Capital Region (BFAR-NCR) in distributing the fuel subsidy and 10 kilos of rice.
Farmers in the city were also given fuel subsidy and 10 kilos of rice.
