Gerald Anderson on forgiving a cheater: 'Mahirap yun'

Gerald Anderson believes in second chances.

This, even if it concerns a cheater.

Not that he thinks it is easy.

He told us in a recent interview, "“Mahirap yun. That’s hard kasi nasira na ’yung trust eh, kumbaga may lamat na ’yun eh.”

Gerald thinks it is up to the guilty party to prove himself/herself worthy of forgiveness.

“You just have to earn the trust again, start from zero, hindi lang zero, negative pa ’yan, di ba? Kailangan mong patunayan uli ’yung sarili mo..."

But is it really possible on his part to forgive a cheater?

He said, "Kaya naman, but hindi siya madali."
