13,184 senior citizens, health workers in Las Piñas City get second booster shot
A total of 13,184 senior citizens and health workers in Las Piñas City have received the second booster shot of Covid-19 vaccine, according to the May 31 record of the city government.
Mayor Imelda Aguilar said 1,410,976 adults in the city have already been vaccinated with their first and second doses, as well as booster shots, against the Covid-19.
She said the second booster shot rollout started on May 23 and, within eight days, the city health teams attended to 13,184 individuals.
The mayor said she told the City Health Office (CHO) teams to conduct second booster shot vaccination to around 300 senior citizens and health workers at 13 vaccination sites.
Aguilar also said around 92% of the pediatric group are now fully vaccinated.
