Senatorial bet JV Ejercito casts his vote with mom, ex-mayor Gomez in San Juan
Senatorial candidate Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito has casted his vote in San Juan together with his mother, former San Juan City Mayor Guia Gomez.

Ejercito arrived at Xavier School in San Juan City around 9:15 a.m. to cast his vote.
In an interview afterwards, Ejercito said he is more confident this time and is satisfied with the people’s awareness of his Senate comeback bid.
“Given the circumstances, I am satisfied with my survey ratings. Mahirap talaga pinagdaanan natin (we really went through a tough time),” he said.
“It’s difficult to be an independent candidate,” added he former senator.
Ejercito credited the outpour of support for his senatorial campaign to people’s awareness of his contributions to healthcare and housing in the country.
He was known for having ushered the passage into law of the Universal Healthcare Act and the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Law.
