Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte has promised to be a "supportive and loyal" vice president to former senator Bongbong Marcos should things go the UniTeam's way after the election dust settles.

“Of course, I will be a supportive and loyal vice president to Apo BBM (Bongbong Marcos) in the event that he wins," Duterte said in an ambush interview after she cast her vote Monday, May 9 at the Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School in Davao City.
"Kung hindi naman natin kasama o kaalyado ang mananalong pangulo (If the winning president is neither our friend nor ally), I will still continue to work for our country,” she added.
The presidential daughter said she intends to be a "working vice president".
The Marcos-Duterte tandem--dubbed the UniTeam--was the consistent survey frontrunner entering Monday’s polls. The two routinely received preference ratings of over 50 percent each in the surveys.
